The Cottage Industry Miniaturists Trade Association, Inc. (CIMTA, Inc.) is a not-for-profit organization run partially by volunteers whose regular membership is limited to handcrafters of dollhouse miniatures. Regular members of CIMTA, Inc. are "cottage industries", that is, small businesses operated by an individual or group of individuals.

CIMTA, Inc.'s goal is to present programs that deal with the unique problems facing the handcrafter of miniatures within the miniature industry. Through the use of trade shows, supporting member activities, public relations work with collectors, and hobbyists for the assistance of the Retailer, educational seminars, newsletters, advertising and other methods, CIMTA, Inc. hopes to grow and maintain a healthy miniatures industry.

Professional handcrafter, consider joining CIMTA, Inc. as a way to market their products to retailers at wholesale pricing. CIMTA, Inc. is a wholesale trade association, and provides you with a marketplace to sell your miniatures wholesale. Selling at our two annual trade shows held in January on the West Coast and June on the East Coast will give you the exposure and buyers you need.

By joining CIMTA you have two ways to sell your miniatures to retailer's world wide.

1. As a new Regular Member, and first time exhibitor, CIMTA offers you...half the cost of your exhibit space. OR,

2. Sell on CIMTA's Group Sales Table, This category would be as Non-CIMTA, Members. Selling on the Group Sales Table will allow you to know if you are ready for becoming a Regular Member and having your own table space.
